All Sports Service Providers go through an initial three part verification process before their accounts are activated to be able to accept bookings. All CoachList ports Service Providers have gone through this process.
This 3 part validation process consists of the following:
- General background check with Identify verification
- National database check for criminal backgrounds
- National database for sex offenders
In addition, any CoachList member may request a paid full reports background search from the likes of Intelius, BeenVerified, Checkmate, Spokeo, etc. Additionally, any Sports Service Provider may pay to have this search conducted on themselves and a badge will be displayed on their SSP Profile page. These records check all sorts of national and local databases for information including (when available) criminal records, marriage/divorce records, lawsuits, liens, bankruptcies, property records, addresses, phone numbers, relatives and neighbors, matching people search results, and more. We encourage every Sports Service Provider to get this done annually for peace of mind for their clients.
